“A Thousand Words” Photography Exhibition | July 4 – August 29

We’ve got something truly special to share with you! 🎉

“A Thousand Words” is a heartfelt and creative photography exhibition, YMCA Newcomer Connections organized by the  in collaboration with  Saint John Arts Centre — and we’d love for you to be part of the opening night celebration!

🖼 Exhibition Run: July 4 – August 29, 2025
🎉 Opening Night: Friday, July 4 | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
📍 Location: Saint John Arts Centre, 20 Peel Plaza, Saint John, NB E2L 3G6

Over the past six weeks, newcomers in our Newcomer Connections language programs explored photography as a powerful new way to communicate and tell their stories. With mentorship from professionals like Mark Hemmings and Chris Donovan, participants captured beautiful, thought-provoking images that reflect their journeys and perspectives.

Now their work is going up on the gallery walls — and you’re invited to be among the first to experience it!

✨ Join us for an evening of art, culture, and community. Come support our LINC students, celebrate their creativity, and connect through the universal language of photography.

Here is information about all of the exhibits opening the evening: https://www.sjartscentre.ca/2025/06/18/opening-for-new-exhibits-july-4/

Hope to see you there!
