The Glenn Carpenter Centre is the perfect outdoor oasis in the middle of the city. Campers will enjoy specialty outdoor activities, such as hiking and biking, as well as water activities, such as swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and a water trampoline on the beautiful Ashburn Lake.
You will get hands-on experience hanging out in the stream and then take your skills to the lake for some catch-and-release fishing. Equipment is included!

Do you want to babysit or are you old enough to stay home? This is a week-long camp that will teach safety, child care, games and basic emergency first aid skills. Participants who successfully complete this camp will receive a certificate of completion from Red Cross.

The Youth Leadership program provides you with the opportunity to develop your leadership skills through structured workshops, mentorship, volunteerism, and hands-on experience. All of the activities are specifically tailored for 12- to 15-year-olds. Every week, you will be going on at least one field trip or there will be a guest coming to work on a project. This camp is a great stepping stone for the Counsellor in Training (CIT) program.

Do you love feeling the wind in your face when biking? Come experience the thrilling world of XC biking. On top of biking the trails of our own site, you will also ride the best of Rockwood Park and learn general bike maintenance. Participants must bring their own bikes and helmets.

Join the worldwide movement focused on protecting the environment. Campers will enjoy a week of outdoor fun developing a sense of wonder and appreciation for nature, conducting science experiments focused on the environment, and sustainability, and participating in hikes and active games.

The CIT program is geared specifically for 15-16-year old’s who want to become Camp Counsellors in the future. The CIT program will run for 10 weeks of the summer. During the first 5 mandatory weeks, CITs will learn the ins and outs of the skills needed to be a counsellor, complete their Bronze Medallion or Cross course and complete a Canoe Certification. The remaining 5 weeks of the summer will focus on putting their skills to work by shadowing the counsellors in different camps. *The price of this camp includes the aforementioned certifications. Swimming and canoeing abilities are required.
