Summer Day Camps | Glen Carpenter Centre
The Glen Carpenter Centre is the perfect outdoor oasis right in the heart of the city! Campers will dive into exciting outdoor adventures like hiking and biking through beautiful natural spaces. They’ll also enjoy tons of fun on the water-swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and even adventures on the inflatable water obstacle course on the beautiful Ashburn Lake!
Every day is packed with fresh air, adventure, and unforgettable summer fun.

Not ready for camp to end just yet? Join us for a special evening from 6:00–10:00 PM filled with outdoor fun and adventure! Gather around the campfire, cook outdoors, and roast marshmallows with friends. You might even head out for a sunset paddle, take a refreshing swim, and finish the night by stargazing under the open sky. The possibilities are endless!
Under the Stars takes place on Friday evenings during Weeks 3, 7, and 10 for campers attending any camp at the Glenn Carpenter Centre during those weeks. Limited spaces are available.
This is an optional add-on experience for campers.

The Youth Leadership program provides you with the opportunity to develop your leadership skills through structured workshops, mentorship, volunteerism, and hands-on experience. All of the activities are specifically tailored for 12- to 15-year-olds. Program will consist of field trips, guest speakers and group projects. This camp is a great stepping stone for the Counsellor in Training (CIT) program.
