Swim Programs
For parents/guardians and their preschool-aged children (7 and under) to relax and play in our therapy pool. Toys, lifejackets, belts, and infant sit-ins are available at this time for your and your little one to enjoy. Please ensure that you use swim diapers (blue) as regular diapers are not intended for use in water. All parents must remain within arm’s reach of children at all times.
We kindly ask older children and adults to use the leisure pool during this time.
YMCA Lane Swims lets you swim at your own pace, providing great cardiovascular exercise and improved muscle strength without stressing your joints. Lanes are available for all swim abilities. Make it a habit and you’ll soon be on your way to a healthier body. The Regional Y has four 25-metre lanes that each have a capacity of 8 people. Each lane has 3 swim speeds to suit your swimming speed: 2 slow lanes, a medium/fast lane.
Members who are ages 10+ can come to lane swim with no adult supervision. We kindly ask that toys are not used during this time. Kickboards, pull buoys, and hand paddles are available at this time.
Feel like challenging yourself? Pick a swim workout curated by lifeguards and burn some calories!
During evenings, Adult Lane Swim is available for those aged 16 years and older.
Come relax and stretch or just float around in our warm pool. Members who are ages 10+ can come unsupervised and use the provided pool noodles and weights.
During Adult Warm Swim, the therapy pool is available for those 16 years and older.
Adult Recreation Swim is for members 16+ to swim at their leisure.

Aquatic Fitness
YMCA Aquafit is a great way to get fitness benefits and improve your circulation without stressing your joints. By pushing against the resistance of water, you can adapt each session to your own level of fitness. It is a great way to add variety to your fitness program.
