Registration for Summer 2025 Opening December 2nd!

To be eligible for specific programs, as long as a camper’s birthday in the 2025 calendar year is for the minimum age required (ie birthday isn’t until after the preferred program has ended) the camper will still be able to register for the program.

Ex. Camper born in 2015 but doesn’t turn 10 until Fall 2025 will still be able to register and attend Junior Explorer. 

Camp Glenburn Little Voyagers (2-Nights)

Little Voyagers (2 Nights)

Ages: 5 – 6

Designed for 5-6-year-olds, this 2-night introductory program provides a unique and supportive atmosphere with experienced counsellors chosen specifically to create a fun, inclusive and welcoming environment for your young one. It is a great camp to get your young one to gain independence and an appreciation for the outdoors. During their stay, campers will participate in Interest Groups and a variety of camp activities with their counsellors. Given the shorter stay at camp, it may not be possible to experience all that Glenburn has to offer in one visit. The Little Voyager program is a wonderful introduction to camp.

Camp Glenburn Adventurer (2-Nights)

Adventurer (2 Nights)

Ages: 7-9 

The Adventurer program is a 2-night introductory program for 7-9-year-olds. It provides a unique and supportive atmosphere with experienced counsellors chosen specifically to create a fun, inclusive and welcoming environment that will foster their independence, building friendship and appreciation of the outdoors. During their stay, campers will participate in Interest Groups and a variety of camp activities. Given the shorter stay at camp, it may not be possible to experience all that Glenburn has to offer in one visit.

Camp Glenburn Junior Discoverer (5-Nights)

Discoverer 1 & 2 : ages 7 – 11

The Discoverer program is a fantastic way to engage with the best that Glenburn has to offer. Discoverer campers participate in a variety of activities that are fun, engaging, and instructive. Campers can choose from any of the age-appropriate interest groups and also participate in theme days, cabin activities and friendly camp-wide games. Campers also get a chance to challenge themselves on a one-night trip tailored to their level of experience and interest.

Camp Glenburn

Senior Discoverer (5 Nights)

Camp Glenburn Junior Explorer (12-Nights)

Age: 10 – 12

Explorers are fully immersed in the Camp Glenburn experience. The session offers opportunities to challenge oneself and learn new skills abound through a choice of four interest groups, Olympic Day, cabin activities, and a two-night camping trip. Explorer campers will get the most of what Glenburn has to offer.

Camp Glenburn Senior Explorer (12-Nights)

Age: 12 – 15 

Our Senior Explorer camp is geared towards age-appropriate activities. Senior Explorer campers spend two weeks developing skills and strengthening friendships. These campers also participate in a two-night overnight trip where they can learn about camping basics and bond with their cabin mates. Spending two full weeks at camp allows Senior Explorers to experience everything Glenburn has to offer: interest groups, cabin activities, Olympic Day, and our annual coffee house.

Junior Leadership (12 Nights)

Age: 11 – 13

Introduced in 2018, our Junior Leadership campers get to spend nine nights at camp and three nights on trip, Junior Leadership campers get the best of both worlds while enjoying the full extent of Glenburn’s programming. The three-night canoe trip provides each cabin group with a meaningful challenge to work toward. The sense of purpose and adventure fostered in this program will help any camper gain self-confidence and build lasting friendships. This program acts as a great introduction to the Leadership program.

While on-site Junior Leadership campers stay in cabins.

Camp Glenburn Leadership Canoe (12-Nights)

Leadership Canoe (12 Nights)

Age: 13 – 15 

This leadership program provides a unique combination of on-site leadership development and challenging outdoor excursions. Through a 5-7 night canoe trip, campers will learn in-depth paddling and camping skills. These extended trips also give teens the opportunity for personal growth, confidence-building, teamwork, and reinforcing a strong connection with nature. While on-site, campers stay in tents in our Leadership Council (LC) beach.  Past trips have included the Restigouche River, St. Croix River, St. John River, and Spednic Lake.

Leader-In-Training (19 Nights)

Age: 13 – 15 

The 3-week Leader in Training session provides extensive skill development, a 5-day hike and a 5-day canoe trip, and memories and friendships to last a lifetime. The program is perfect for teens who are looking for adventure, challenges and a real sense of accomplishment. It also acts as a great stepping stone for anyone interested in the CIT program in years to come. Past trips have included the Fundy National Park, Fundy Footpath, Dobson Trail, Restigouche River, St. Croix River, St. John River, and Spednic Lake.

Leadership Foundations (12 Nights)

Age: 12-15

Leadership Foundations is a 12-night introductory session that allows campers to get a taste for leadership in the outdoors. Leaders will build the base for establishing hard skills and camping basics, while indulging in teamwork, communication, and confidence-building initiative activities without the extensive out-tripping. This program is for those who seek to gain new leadership skills, to foster their love and appreciation for the outdoors, and prepare themselves with transferable skills for the world. This program is a great stepping stone to Glenburn leadership and counselling!

Camp Glenburn C.I.T. (8-Weeks)

C.I.T. (9 Weeks)

Age: 15 – 16
The goal of the Counsellor In Training (CIT) program is to give each participant the tools and experiences necessary to be strong leaders. Skills developed during the CIT summer become the foundation for lifelong success. Each candidate selected for the CIT program has the opportunity to challenge themselves to reach new heights, both personally and as a part of a group. While living and working together for eight weeks, this team will develop proficiency and certifications in skills such as canoeing, kayaking, climbing, environmental education, drama, adventure-based programming, outdoor living skills, First Aid, CPR, out-tripping, and swimming (Bronze Cross). CITs participants are selected. The application deadline is Friday, March 15, and the CIT selection date will be on Saturday, May 4, 2023.
