Camp is About… The Staff

The Staff

Camping overnight away from home is an adventure – both exciting and sometimes scary for new campers. That’s why we maintain a low camper-to-staff ratio of 3-5:1, ensuring each counsellor provides individual care, comfort and friendship to campers.

All of our staff have received criminal background checks, Standard First Aid, CPR training and all waterfront staff are certified by the National Lifesaving Society of Canada and by Paddle Canada.

Camp Glenburn Health and Safety

Health and Safety

Providing a safe, fun experience for all our campers is our top priority.

Our staff receive technical training in backwoods camping, adventure course facilitation and waterfront and boating safety.

Our onsite Health Hut is staffed 24 hours per day to manage medications and help campers who might be feeling under the weather.

Our kitchen prepares three meals and snacks daily and cater to food allergies and dietary restrictions.

We take sanitation very seriously. Our facilities are disinfected regularly at Public Health standards and we strongly enforce hand hygiene among staff and campers.
